Cultivate an Attitude of Gratitude

This is a difficult time for many as we are forced to isolate. We often feel alone and separated from the daily routines of our lives. Our everyday activities have been forced to stop, like the businesses that have shuttered around us. Instead of focusing on what you’ve lost, count the many blessings that you’ve been given. This is an opportunity to appreciate all the daily graces of our lives that we may have previously taken for granted.

As you go through your day, what can you be grateful for? Take a few seconds to really experience and appreciate the moment because what you focus on will expand. Make being grateful a priority and you will begin to see more and more things to be grateful for.

Some people may initially struggle identifying what they are grateful for. Start from where you are. It may be as simple as having a bed to sleep on or food to eat. Maybe you are grateful for the job that helps feed your family or a partner that you love. It doesn’t matter where you are. What matters is that you start.

Begin a gratitude journal and write down all the things you are grateful for. Periodically read through your journal and you will begin to notice how many things you can truly be grateful for.

Gratitude is a simple practice that can accelerate the level of joy and happiness you experience in life.

What can you be grateful for?

Unite in Love and Not Fear

We’ve united together as one family with one purpose like never before in history: To save and cherish lives. There is so much fear and uncertainty as the pandemic envelops the planet. However, as we navigate these unchartered times, one thing has remained constant – the love and compassion of the human heart. Let us continue to unite in love and not fear. Let us all pray for the planet so we may all be healed. When we emerge from this crisis, remember to let love lead and to embrace the unity that binds us always as brothers and sisters. Let us remain united as we emerge into something greater.
